President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian music legend, Mr. Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
The President praised the artiste for his immense contributions to Nigeria’s entertainment industry, describing him as a symbol of resilience, creativity, and the indomitable Nigerian spirit.
“For more than two decades, 2Baba has serenaded us with soulful melodies, inspired generations, and proudly carried the Nigerian flag across the globe. His timeless classic, African Queen, remains an evergreen masterpiece that introduced the beauty of African music to the world and firmly placed Nigeria on the global entertainment map,” the President said.
President Tinubu also commended 2Baba for his patriotism and for using his platform to promote peace, unity, and good governance in Nigeria.
He prayed that the years ahead will bring the music icon greater joy, fulfillment, and good health.
