Nigerian hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has boasted that he can never be a victim of cancel culture despite the widespread misogyny allegations against him.
Appearing in a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, the ‘Pity This Boy’ crooner said he believes that even presidents and top global music executives can’t cancel him.
“I can’t get cancelled. Never! Even [US President] Donald Trump and our own President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can’t cancel me. If they plan to, God will send someone to convince them not to. The same with global music executives like Jay-Z; they can’t cancel me,” he expressed.
Debunking the misogyny allegations against him, Odumodublvck pointed out that he has been more supportive of female artists than any of his colleagues in the past year.
He noted how his collaborative songs with female artists such as Bloody Civilian, Smur Lee and others reached number one on digital streaming platforms.
It would be recalled that Odumodublvck faced accusations of misogyny after stating in a verse from his 2023 collaborative hit with Shallipopi, ‘Cast,’ that some women may be unable to afford wigs and designer handbags without sleeping with men
