Speaking in a recent interview with Jay On Air, Timini insisted that men have to offer more than money in a relationship.
According to him, any man who can’t offer their partner more than financial support, is shallow.
“If all you can bring to a relationship is money, then you are a very shallow man. I have learnt that,” he said.
The movie advised men to explore other avenues of expressing love rather than relying on financial provisions.
Timini Egbuson has previously decried the monetisation of romantic relationships by some women.
In a 2025 interview with TVC, the actor stated that many women often believe men show love by spending lavishly on them, but that isn’t always true.
This, he explained, is why some financially buoyant men don’t attach much value to women as they can get as many as they desire.
